Low carb works for me because I can eat meals like cheesesteak with peppers, onions and cheese (all I do is skip the bread). This is a lifestyle where you eat when you are hungry. Also, it works on the go. There are many low carb options at fast food restaurants that make it easy to fit low carb into your daily life.
Everyday is not easy. I would love to eat ice cream and chocolate daily but have gained the tools to win the battle over them. I am making the choice everyday to live a longer healthier life. Some days I over indulge on Atkins bars and peanuts- and that is okay. Because I am winning the battle I have lost over 50 pounds so far.
